Scratch Paper & Graph Paper
The scratch paper screen is an ecofriendly way for the student to work through their questions. Students can change the background paper to graphing paper, a black chalkboard or one of the many other choices.
Just use your finger to draw right on the screen.
Change colors as needed.
You can also undo mistakes, clear the page, show or hide the question and/or email the drawing.
The calculator is accessed from the scratch paper screen. Generally, the use of a calculator is not needed and discouraged.
This screen is ideal for working with fractions as diagrams. Because most fractions involve the most common units of halves, thirds and quarters using diagrams of the fractions should eventually start to bring additional meaning to fractions, a concept that many learners struggle to fully understand.
